Home & Harvest Days
Antrim's Home and Harvest Days just keep getting better and better. It
features 2 days of activities including a parade, community breakfasts
and suppers, live music, one of N.H.'s oldacting troupes, and fun and
games which are free to all kids, this year located at Touchwood Square
near the Antrim Post Office. We cap off the 2 funs days with live music,
a cookout, and fireworks by the N.H. Atlas Pyrotechnics.
This year the "The Race for the Old Gold Jug," has been exsanctioned by the International Skateboard Slalom Association. Races
streak head to head through a course of cones downhill at speeds of 30
M.P.H. This is one of the largest races of its kind on the East Coast,
and has already attracted pro racers from New England and Ontario,
Canada.
Also this year is the Pumpkin Regatta, a "duck race" event using real,
locally grown pumpkins. Stop buy and buy your pumpkin early. First
prize is $300, and there are 2nd - 10th prizes as well.
This promises to be Antrim's best celebration yet. We're still
looking for homemade floats and people to show off their Arts and
Crafts.
